Welcome to ShuttleLab. These Terms of Service govern your use of shuttlelab.org and any of our products — including paid subscription services (such as Status and Note) and free tools (such as Clipboard, File Transfer, JSON Tools, YAML Tools, Messaging, and Calendar). By accessing or using ShuttleLab, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Products and Services

ShuttleLab operates a suite of online tools at shuttlelab.org and its subdomains. Some tools are offered as paid subscription services — currently Status (status.shuttlelab.org) and Note (note.shuttlelab.org). Other tools are provided free of charge, including but not limited to Clipboard, File Transfer, JSON Tools, YAML Tools, Messaging, and Calendar. These Terms apply uniformly to all ShuttleLab products and services, whether paid or free. Where a specific product publishes additional product-specific terms, those additional terms apply only to that product and prevail over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

Acceptance of Terms

By using ShuttleLab, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the authority to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use ShuttleLab for your personal and professional purposes. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, transmit, or otherwise misuse the content without our permission.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to use ShuttleLab only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of ShuttleLab. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person.

Payment and Subscription

For paid services, payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Creem (https://creem.io). ShuttleLab does not store full payment card details. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout), and subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@shuttlelab.org; cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period (see the Refund Policy below). All prices are shown in the applicable currency at checkout and may be subject to taxes depending on your jurisdiction.

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with a paid ShuttleLab service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase by emailing support@shuttlelab.org. Refunds are issued through the original payment method via Creem and typically arrive within 5–10 business days. After the 7-day window, subscription fees are non-refundable, but you may still cancel at any time to prevent future renewals. Refund requests caused by abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms may be denied at our discretion.

Limitation of Liability

ShuttleLab is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no representation or warranty regarding the content on our website. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Intellectual Property

All content on ShuttleLab, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of ShuttleLab or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce or transmit any content without our permission.

Termination

We may terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use ShuttleLab will cease immediately. For paid subscriptions, termination by us for cause does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid; you may still be eligible for a refund under the Refund Policy above.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of ShuttleLab following the posting of revised terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
