Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-11

At ShuttleLab, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use shuttlelab.org and any of our products — including paid subscription services (such as Status and Note) and free tools (such as Clipboard, File Transfer, JSON Tools, YAML Tools, Messaging, and Calendar).

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, subscribe to a paid service, or contact support. Through Google OAuth, we collect basic profile information (email, name, profile picture) and unique identifiers needed to create and manage your account. For paid subscriptions, we also receive transaction records from our payment processor (Creem) — such as billing email, subscription plan, transaction status, and the last 4 digits of the payment method. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials. We do not request access to your Google calendar, contacts, or other sensitive data.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, authenticate your account, process subscriptions and payments, send transactional notifications (including receipts, renewal reminders, and service updates), and comply with legal obligations. We never use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Payment Information

Payments for paid ShuttleLab services are processed by our third-party payment provider, Creem (https://creem.io). When you subscribe, Creem collects and processes your payment details (card information, billing address, transaction data) directly under its own privacy policy. ShuttleLab only receives the transaction metadata required to provision and maintain your subscription — billing email, subscription plan, transaction status, and the last 4 digits of your payment method. We never receive your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials. For details on how Creem processes your payment data, please review Creem's privacy policy at https://creem.io.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share information only with service providers who help us operate our website and services — for example, our payment processor Creem (for billing and subscription management) and infrastructure providers (for hosting and analytics) — and these providers are bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You can revoke Google OAuth access through your Google account settings, and you may cancel a paid subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us. Contact support@shuttlelab.org to exercise these rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
